I’m so there.

I wonder if they’re looking for volunteers.

There’s something to be said about setting the stage at the Lincoln Memorial for a comedy routine. I mean a real and intentional one. But as my grandma said: “There’s a lot of truth[iness] in a joke.” We could all use a collective primal laugh.

Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and their team will be the first to host a comedy rally on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Basically it’s a free show: two for the price of none. Will people be talking about it 30 years from now like Woodstock? Oh, wait, if you remember Woodstock, you weren’t really there. Will Rogers must be rolling over in his grave with laughter.
