The day after election day. I invited friends and family to the Lincoln Memorial to take some pics. I get the feeling we’ll see more American flags in places we haven’t seen them before. Keep an eye on flag sales in the months ahead. I hear more and more people saying “This is the first time I feel like a real American.” I hear America singing. Can’t imagine a better time to visit the first Illinois Senator turned President to form a more perfect union; and to stand on the spot where an eloquent African American Baptist minister looked out over the Reflecting Pool and stretched out his hand to the future.
